WynAI Listen & Learn

This policy applies to the WynAI Listen & Learn application on desktop, web, and related distribution platforms.

By using the app, registering an account, activating a plan, or uploading content, you agree to the data practices described in this policy.

Account information such as email address, display name, user identifier, and subscription status.

Usage data such as learning history, progress, saved vocabulary, conversation history, plan selections, device information, and technical logs required to operate the service.

User-provided content such as subtitle files (.srt), reading files, text, recorded audio, prompts, links, and other content you choose to upload or submit to the app.

Device Identifier (Device ID): Device advertising identifier (such as IDFA on iOS) when tracking permission is granted by you.

Some data may be stored locally on your device to support personalization and offline functionality.

To provide English-learning features, sync data across devices, process uploaded .srt subtitle files to analyze and generate shadowing practice sentences, authenticate users, process payments, and activate valid keys or subscriptions.

Personalized Advertising: Listen & Learn uses the device identifier to display ads that are more relevant to you.

To improve app quality, secure the service, diagnose issues, prevent abuse, and comply with legal or platform requirements.

The app may use third-party services such as Firebase, payment providers, AI providers, speech-to-text services, text-to-speech services, analytics tools, and storage infrastructure to operate certain features.

Those services may process data only as needed to provide the relevant functionality.

The partner-matching (Find Partner) and chat (Chats) features in the Community section are strictly intended for users aged 17 and older. By using these features, you represent and warrant that you are at least 17 years old.

We strictly prohibit bullying, harassment, hate speech, abusive voice messages, violence, or any other abusive conduct. We maintain a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy for objectionable content.

All photos, voice messages, biography texts, and chat messages are automatically moderated using secure Microsoft Azure Content Safety AI systems and our human moderation team before they are fully visible.

Any image violating community standards will result in account suspension. Sending severe violations (such as extreme violence, gore, child exploitation/CSAM, explicit pornography, or severe personal harassment) will trigger an immediate permanent account ban on the very first offense.

Users can instantly report (Report) objectionable content or block (Block) abusive users directly within the application. Our moderation team reviews and takes action on all reports within 24 hours. These safety guidelines apply to all users (including Premium accounts), and no refunds will be provided if an account is terminated due to policy violations.

Users are responsible for ensuring that any files, links, audio, text, images, or other content submitted through the app are lawful and properly licensed.

All user data and submitted content must comply with copyright law, content licenses, platform terms, and applicable regulations.

We may remove, disable access to, block, or delete any link, data, content, or resource suspected of infringing copyright, violating licensing terms, breaching platform rules, or creating legal risk, without prior notice.

Such action may be taken to comply with requests from rights holders, legal authorities, infrastructure providers, or app store and platform requirements.

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for protecting your device, account, and login credentials.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data to the extent permitted by law and technically feasible for the service.

You may stop using the app at any time, but some backup data, technical logs, or data retained for legal compliance may remain for a reasonable period.

To deliver AI-powered features (such as Speak AI, Phrase Prep, and AI Chat), the application transmits your conversation data to large language model providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Qwen).

The transmitted data includes: Text messages you type in Chat, documents or subtitle files (.srt) you upload for analysis, or your voice recordings (solely used to transcribe speech & grade pronunciation).

Privacy Promise: We DO NOT share any personally identifiable information (such as Username, Email, Phone number) with these third-party AI providers.

You have the right to grant or revoke this consent. You can easily toggle or revoke this AI data sharing consent at any time inside the Settings menu of the Speak AI feature.
